The mission of the Department is to enhance the economic strength of St.
Clair County through the creation of new jobs by the attraction and retention
of business.
The Where We Stand (WWS) series produced by East-West Gateway (EWG) has
provided comparisons of the St. Louis region with other large metropolitan
areas since 1992.
